Comfortably seated in the Accra Lounge at the Africa CEO Forum, Gabriel Semelas and his Airbus colleagues await their audience with Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame. For Semelas, president of Airbus Africa and Middle East, the meeting is significant as it celebrates half a century of presence in Africa. Airbus wants to consolidate its position on a continent that has become strategic for its growth, even though it does not disclose the weight of this region in its results or growth.
