Hyundai IONIQ 5

  • $7,000 bonus on cash purchases
  • $1,000 off plus 0% APR for 72 months

The IONIQ 5, now in its fifth model year, is surprisingly affordable. Hyundai not only lowered the base price for the 2026 model year but is also offering additional hefty incentives this month.

The IONIQ 5 is offered in 5 main trims, but we’d recommend skipping the entry-level SE version as it offers 245 miles of range and an anemic 168 horsepower. The long-range versions come with an 82kWh battery delivering a range of up to 318 miles, along with a more potent 225-horsepower setup.

The SE Long Range RWD doesn’t come with an extensive list of standard features. It offers cloth seats and few creature comforts, but it does come with Highway Drive Assist (HDA), which features adaptive cruise control and lane centering as standard.

The Long Range starts at $39,100, but with the incentive, it runs just $32,100. For comparison, a new Toyota RAV4 LE is $33,495.

The IONIQ 9 is Hyundai’s take on the electric three-row. It offers more range and a slightly larger form factor than its platform sibling, the Kia EV9. The entry-level IONIQ 9 gets the same 110.3kWh battery as the higher trim levels, delivering an EPA range of 335 miles. The entry-level SE seats seven passengers and can charge from 10 to 80% in just 24 minutes.

All IONIQ 9s get HDA 2.0 with adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and automated lane changes.

For June, Hyundai is slicing $10,000 off the sticker price of the IONIQ 9. This brings the IONIQ 9 SE’s price down to a more digestible $51,055.
