As the new year starts, elected officials are hoping for a bright 2026 in Chillicothe.
CHILLICOTHE — As you or your significant other pop the question and get ready to say “I do,” here are a few important things to do, such as finding your dream dress or sending out invites. But one of the most daunting decisions is finding that perfect venue.
So, before choosing which aisle to gracefully glide down, here is a list of wedding venues in Ross County:
Creekside Occasions
This rustic barn-style venue, located at 14847 OH-772, Chillicothe, has farmhouse buildings that date back to the 1800s. This venue has an occupancy of around 140 people and offers both indoor and outdoor spaces. One of the farmhouse buildings has suites for the wedding party to get ready in.
Price: Weekend Package is $5,000 and the One Day Wedding Package is $2,800.
Riser Barn
Located just a couple of miles from Hocking County, this ten-acre barnyard can comfortably hold 300 guests for your special day. Both outdoor and indoor seating is available for every type of weather and is climate-controlled inside. Multiple packages range between $3,000 to $5,000.
Barnhart Farms
If you are a bride who wants wildflowers or a woodsy feeling to your wedding, Barnhart Farms might be the venue for you. This 100-acre family farm, located at 1483 Robinson Road, Chillicothe, has multiple locations couples can choose for their ceremony and can accommodate up to 150 people. Couples can pick their own vendors and bring in the alcohol of their choice.
Price: Sunday micro-wedding: $2,500; Weekend rental: $4,500.
The Postmark
From inside to outside weddings, this historic venue, built in the early 1900s, has been revamped into a beautiful place to say ‘I do’. The venue includes day of coordination, wedding planning, set-up and tear down of chairs and tables, a bridal suite and groom’s lounge, and guest parking.
Prices start at $3,999.
Bell Manor
This wedding venue seats 200 people, but can accommodate 300 people for an additional cost. There are multiple accommodations for this venue, including a spacious bridal and groom suite, all tables and chairs for the ceremony and reception, set up and tear down of tables and chairs, and removal of decorations.
Packages: Micro-weddings: $3,500; Fridays: $6,400; Saturday: $7,900; Sunday: $6,800.
