Emma Stone’s look was a walking spring mood board. Airy and light makeup anchored her softly tousled wavy bob, courtesy of GHD. Celebrity stylist Mara Roszak opted for a ’90s blowout using the ghd Ceramic Vented Round Brush, then followed up with ghd Chronos Curve Grand Iron to slightly bend the ends. For the face, Stone kept it monochromatic, keeping a rosy flush consistent from the cheeks to the lips.

A look this good needs to be consumed in parts. First, the wavy box braids draw you in. Hairstylist Coree Moreno relied on Briogeo products to prep the hair, including the Curl Charisma Rice Amino + Avocado Leave-In Defining Crème and Style + Treat™ Yuzu + Plum Oil Light Work Sculpting Crème for added smoothness.

Then, you notice the shimmering inner corner illuminating the soft, purple smoky eye. The marriage of matte and dewy continued across her face, from her airbrushed baby-pink cheeks to her nude, glossy lips.

At this point, Teyana Taylor’s pixie deserves hall of fame status, right next to Halle Berry’s and Nia Long’s. Her Oscars version was shorter and sharply cut, protected by the OGX Bond Protein Repair Heat Protect Spray, then smoothed and refined using the Dyson Supersonic r.

Celebrity manicurist Sarah Chue gave Taylor’s nails a pearlescent finish using Apres Astral Gel Couleur in Celestial.
