Britain’s Got Talent star Hollie Steel, now 27, shared a glimpse at her secret wedding to Daniil Kiryakov after confirming they eloped abroad
Young Britain’s Got Talent star Hollie Steel, who competed on the show when she was just 10, has revealed that she got married to boyfriend Daniil Kiryakov in a secret ceremony.
The 27-year-old shared a glimpse at their nuptials on Instagram, revealing they eloped in Georgia more than a year after announcing their engagement.
In a stunning snap, she held her new husband’s hand while posing in a halterneck white dress, alongside the caption: “I’m so excited to announce that Daniil and I eloped in the beautiful city of Tbilisi.
“I can’t wait to celebrate our love with our nearest and dearest in a few months. Let the festivities begin. Entering the bride era. P.s I love being married to you @kiryakov_dd.”

Right on cue, fans flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages, sharing their shock at how grown-up the bride is now. One wrote: “I’m so happy for you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS and I wish you both a lifetime of beautiful memories together.”
“Congratulations, Hollie! So proud of you! I remembered watching you on YouTube on Britain’s Got Talent. You have grown into such a wonderful person,” another replied.
“Oh my!!! You both look stunning. You’re so beautiful Hollie and congratulations,” an Instagram user cheered, as a follower added: “That is so cool and exciting Hollie. I am so happy for you. Congrats to you both!!”
While it is not clear when Hollie and Daniil first started dating, the musician made things Instagram official with a loved-up photo in 2019.
Last March, she confirmed that they had taken the next step in their relationship when the Russian ice skater popped the question the previous December, telling fans: “13/12/2024. I said yes! Can’t wait to spend the rest our lives growing together [sic].” In January, she shared another relationship update, explaining that Daniil had been granted his UK visa ahead of their wedding.
Hollie first came to fame in 2009 when she auditioned for season three of BGT aged just 10 – alongside Susan Boyle and Diversity, who eventually went on to win the competition. She didn’t have the easiest time of it on the show and burst into tears during a performance of Edelweiss in the semi-finals, after suffering a panic attack.
After taking time to steady her nerves, she returned to the stage at the end of the show to finish her performance, and made it through to the final – where she finished in sixth place.
Hollie used her appearance to launch a career in the spotlight, dropping her debut album in 2010 before releasing a further two records. Unpacking her stint on the ITV programme in a chat with the Sun in 2023, she recalled: “When I get on stage, sometimes I go back to that moment when I’m on TV and I’m about to have a panic attack.
“I’ve done a lot of therapy and counselling where I’m just like, ‘You need to breathe, you need to relax. You’re enjoying this. You’re fine.’”
