Amazon has launched Amazon Haul UK – a new ultra-cheap shopping section selling beauty, fashion and home products from as little as £1

Amazon is already the first port of call for everyday items but with the rise of Temu and its super cheap offerings, Amazon has been facing some competition.
Well, now Amazon has not only launched a dedicated ultra-cheap shopping section on its site, but it lists all sorts of beauty, fashion and home products from as little as £1.
Amazon actually launched Haul in the UK last year, but it’s only recently started appearing more prominently in searches and recommendations, which is probably why many people (like ourselves!) are only just discovering it now.
Available through the Amazon app and desktop site, Amazon Haul is essentially a low-cost marketplace within Amazon itself, filled with ultra-cheap products across beauty, fashion, home and lifestyle categories.
If you’ve spent any time scrolling Temu, Shein or TikTok Shop lately, the concept will feel familiar. The difference is that Amazon is trying to wrap that bargain-hunt experience inside its existing delivery, returns and customer service system.
Given how expensive everyday shopping feels at the moment, it’s not hard to see the appeal.
Amazon says every product on Haul costs less than £20, with most products priced below £10 and some as low as £1. Orders over £15 qualify for free delivery, while smaller baskets cost £2.99 to ship.
The trade-off is speed. Unlike standard Prime orders, Amazon Haul deliveries can take up to two weeks, although Amazon says many arrive sooner. But is it worth it?

It has its own search results, checkout and basket, and focuses heavily on low-cost beauty accessories, home organisation products, fashion basics, gadgets and trend-led items.
At the time of writing, the beauty section includes things like heatless curling kits, makeup brush cleaners, LED mirrors, nail stickers, cosmetic organisers, scalp massagers and makeup sponge multipacks, often for less than the price of lunch.
There are also lots of Korean beauty-inspired accessories and TikTok-style gadgets designed to look expensive while costing surprisingly little.
To Amazon’s credit, the company says all products still go through its usual compliance and safety checks, and customers still get access to reviews, ratings and free returns within 15 days.
That reassurance is arguably the entire point. Cheap online marketplaces already exist. Amazon’s version just feels slightly less risky.

- Large acrylic makeup organisers for roughly £6-8
- LED compact mirrors from around £4
- Electric makeup brush cleaners for around £9
- Scalp massagers and shampoo brushes for around £2-4
- Gel nail sticker kits from around £1
- Multipacks of makeup sponges from roughly £2
Realistically, this is the kind of shopping that makes most sense for lower-risk purchases. Cheap accessories, storage, travel bottles, claw clips, cosmetic bags and home organisation bits all feel fairly sensible here.
We’d probably still be cautious around very cheap skincare formulas or electrical beauty devices promising salon-level results for £2. That’s less about Amazon specifically and more just common sense.
It’s also worth being honest that you’re not really shopping recognised beauty brands here. Most products come from generic sellers or smaller marketplace brands rather than established premium names. That doesn’t automatically make them bad, but it does mean expectations should probably stay realistic.

Is Amazon Haul worth it?
For everyday extras and cheap practical buys, honestly, yes – especially if you already use Amazon regularly and prefer having easier returns and customer support compared to some of the other bargain marketplaces online.
The experience still feels recognisably Amazon, even if the products themselves lean heavily towards impulse purchases and trend-led gadgets.
Where Amazon Haul becomes less useful is if you’re specifically looking for discounted premium beauty. You’re unlikely to suddenly find heavily reduced Charlotte Tilbury, Elemis or Medik8 hidden among the £2 satin scrunchies and LED cat lamps.
For that kind of shopping, we still think Boop Beauty is the stronger option. Boop sells discounted luxury skincare, haircare and makeup from brands including ESPA, Elemis, Charlotte Tilbury, REN and Caudalie. The discounts come from products being overstocked, unboxed or short-dated rather than counterfeit or questionable.
In that sense, Amazon Haul and Boop serve completely different purposes.
Amazon Haul is useful for cheap accessories, home bits and practical everyday extras. Boop is where you go when you want luxury beauty at a genuinely reduced price. Both can save money. One just involves significantly more claw clips.
