[COMPUTEX 2026] MINIX Brings AI-Capable Mini-PCs, Displays & Accessories

Hong Kong-based MINIX attended COMPUTEX 2026 with its latest lineup of mini-PCs, although the new machines clearly are growing in size to accommodate the demands of AI computing. Besides those, the company is also showcasing products in other categories – namely, displays, charging accessories, and even CarPlay-related hardware.

The star of the show is the MINIX ER939-AI Ultra, a mini-PC that is about the size of a typical office-bound desktop PC at 198.7 x 268.2 x 73.8 mm, though the power it packs is unlike the ones you’ll find in such places. Specifically, it packs AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor featuring Radeon 8060S graphics with up to 128GB of LPDDR5X RAM to handle large-scale AI models and all kinds of creative-related work you could throw at it.

Onboard you’ll also find 2TB of SSD storage (upgradable to 8TB), four USB4 (40Gbps) / USB4 2.0 (80Gbps) ports, HDMI 2.1 FRL output, 10GbE LAN port, with embedded fingerprint sensor for security, plus an onboard display a la gaming systems for real-time monitoring. Properly high-end stuff, in other words – though it should be noted that whatever you’re seeing in the photos above is still a prototype, as the design is not yet finalized.

Perhaps the slightly lesser-known aspects of MINIX is that they make displays, too. Far from conventional for that matter, as the examples shown includes desk-bound laptop-sized displays, multi-monitor setups for Macbooks, a two-sided presentation-style display, and even a keyboard-sized display that seems to be the theme lately.

Besides those, MINIX also has its presence in Apple CarPlay accessories, for which it offers aftermarket kits like a camera for monitoring babies on-board, or providing existing CarPlay-capable vehicles with wireless CarPlay capability. There’s also wireless HDMI dongles, a bunch of charging accessories, and even a laptop on display.
