The shop will launch with an event on Saturday featuring line dancing and an appearance by the Mayor of Christchurch, Maggie Fidler, who will help cut the opening ribbon.
Owner Jo Li said: “We’re not a new business, we’ve been here for 12 years.
“In the 12 years we’ve been here, we’ve noticed a huge market for watch repair and servicing.
“In the watch collectors world, some like to keep their watch as original as possible, they don’t want to change its character but would still like it to be maintained and repaired.
“There’s a lot missing in the watch repair world.
“Sending a watch off can sometimes cost more than the watch is worth, we are a local business which is safe, affordable and trustworthy.
“It’s rare to have a watchmaker onsite, he used to work in Beales and it’s a dying trade.”

Jo Li said Time Stone will stock high end brands such as Rolex, Omega and TAG Heuer, alongside vintage gold and silver jewellery and luxury handbags.
He added that many customers bring in family heirlooms that are no longer produced and can rarely be repaired by official manufacturers, but that Time Stone can often restore them at affordable prices.
The expansion to the business comes as a result of customers regularly queuing outside its first store in Christchurch, prompting the need to move into a larger, more accommodating premises.

Deborah Liversedge , sales manager at The Reign National, said customers can expect “a warm welcome” and “smiling faces”.
She added that the business model is “a personalised service backed by an established reputation and a strong base of happy, returning customers”.
She said: “There is a lot to look at from quality vintage to modern watches and jewellery.”
The Time Stone shop is set to operate from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm, but will remain closed on Sundays.
