As summer arrives, so too does high jewelry season, ushering in a dynamic calendar of launches, destination presentations, and creative collaborations. From sun-soaked locales to prestigious cultural stages, leading jewelry houses are exploring new collections and concepts, highlighting the craftsmanship and storytelling shaping the industry now. To start, Dior debuts its dazzling “Diorissima” collection in Venice, and Tiffany & Co. expands its Sixteen Stone collection with a new Sixteen Stone solitaire diamond ring, a heritage-inspired design unveiled in a campaign starring Natalie Portman. 1) Dior Presents ‘Diorissima’ in Venice

Dior unveiled its latest high jewelry collection “Diorissima” with artistic director of Dior Joaillerie, Victoire de Castellane, creating her most whimsical collection to date. With universal symbols of happiness and joy—sun, moons, stars, and nimbus clouds—alongside many forms of flora, fauna, and sea life, the line pays homage to some of Monsieur Dior’s favorite artists, Matisse and Picasso, through an abstract lens. The inspiration was underscored by the maison’s choice to present the collection in Venice during the Biennale, alongside couture looks by Jonathan Anderson. Though the full collection is 141 pieces, the first chapter consists of 112 designs from shoulder-duster earrings to a transformable brooch, necklaces, rings, and bracelets using bright lacquer and one-of-a-kind stones. Highlights include the Récif Fleuri brooch, evoking a childlike interpretation of five-petaled flowers, and the Galon Fleuri ring, which is centered around an almost 16-carat black opal surrounded by tiny flowers made of sapphires, emeralds, tsavorite garnets, and turquoise. Just in time for summer, the Fruits d’Été necklace celebrates the colors and flowers blooming all around in a collar-length piece covered in diamonds, emeralds, multicolor sapphires, rubies, spessartite, and mandarin garnet set in pink gold, creating a rainbow effect.

2) Tiffany & Co. Introduces the Sixteen Stone Solitaire Diamond Ring

Tiffany & Co. is giving one of its most enduring designs a fresh update. The house’s beloved Sixteen Stone collection—originally created by Jean Schlumberger in 1959—expands with the debut of a new Sixteen Stone solitaire diamond ring. Featuring a center stone nestled within distinctive X-shaped prongs and accented by Schlumberger’s cross-stitch-inspired details—a nod to the designer’s family legacy in textiles—in 18K yellow gold, the design balances heritage with contemporary finishes. Unveiled in a campaign starring Natalie Portman, Tiffany also introduced all-metal Sixteen Stone rings and several new additions to the line, broadening the offering from a high-jewelry statement to elevated, everyday jewelry.
