The opening of one of the world’s largest jewellery events, Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (JGA), is just days away.
Thousands of buyers are ready to travel for one of the world’s largest industry events, organised by Informa Events. The trade show will be hosted at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from 18 to 21 June and include two co-located fairs.
More than 1,100 exhibitors from around 30 countries will take part in the trade show, spread across more than 30 pavilions. Celine Lau, director of jewellery fairs at Informa Markets, said events such as these shaped the future of the jewellery business.
“JGA brings the jewellery industry together mid-year to connect with peers and discover and source virtually every product imaginable − from finished pieces to raw materials − all in one place,” Lau said.
“As ongoing geopolitical challenges continue to impact global markets, including the luxury sector, JGA’s role as a market-maker and platform for collaboration, idea-sharing and practical solution-finding has become increasingly vital.”
JGA: Jewellery in Hall 1 offers a wide range of finished jewellery, from classics to statement designs. At the same time, Hall 3 hosts JGA: Diamonds, Gemstones & Pearls+, offering a selection of loose materials from international suppliers. This fair also features the Fine Design/Fine Gem Pavilion.
Beyond the business of jewellery, JGA will host a series of panel discussions and seminars at The Stage in Hall 1C of the HKCEC.
This year’s fair will include the debut of a new competition for designers, divided into three categories − earrings, rings, and brooches − with each participant allowed to submit up to two entries across all jewellery types. Winners will be awarded a trip to JGW 2026, ownership of their jewellery piece, editorial coverage, and an award certificate. The honours will be conferred during the Awards Ceremony at the JGW Fair Reception, scheduled for 16 September.
Following the June show, Informa Markets will host Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong, beginning on 14 September.
