The jewellery and accessories brand will return to the city centre next month
Liverpool ONE has announced it is welcoming fashion accessories brand Accessorize to its line up of retailers next month. Returning to the city centre after several years, Accessorize branding has now been installed on the South John Street store, confirming its upcoming arrival.
The new store is set to open in June and will stock the brand’s latest collections including bags, jewellery and seasonal accessories. To celebrate the launch, Accessorize will be offering an exclusive gift for the first 50 customers spending £35 or more.
Vicki Baker, retail director for Accessorize, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be opening in Liverpool ONE, a high-profile location in one of the UK’s most dynamic cities. This new store reflects the continued momentum behind Accessorize, as we invest in key locations and bring our evolving product offer to more customers.
“Known for our affordable, style-led accessories designed to be stacked, styled and worn effortlessly, Liverpool is the perfect place for us to showcase the brand as we continue to grow.”
Brendan Hattam, centre director at Liverpool ONE, added: “It’s brilliant to see Accessorize go from strength to strength. We’re excited to welcome them back to our line-up here at Liverpool ONE and join an already strong retail mix. We’re sure our guests will be excited too.”
The news follows the announcement of jewellery brand Lovisa’s upcoming arrival. The store will open in Liverpool ONE on Friday, May 29.
The brand which has over 300 stores worldwide is moving into the Liverpool ONE unit formerly home to Claire’s following its closure last month. Claire’s closed all of its UK and Ireland stores at the end of April after falling into administration.
Lovisa already has one store in Liverpool city centre at 7 Parker Street. The store first opened in November 2024 just ahead of Black Friday.
The Lovisa store sells jewellery and accessories including necklaces, pendants, charms, earrings and bracelets, headbands and clips. There are also purses, scrunchies, bandanas, scarves and hair accessories available, alongside a vast range of other jewellery items. It also offers piercing services in store.
This month also saw the arrival of British jewellery brand Monica Vinader, which opened its first shop in Liverpool on May 2.
The company opened in the space best known for previously being used by Topshop in Liverpool city centre. The Keys Court unit has since been transformed into a dual-sided arcade with the creation of three new independent premises, with Footlocker already open in the space.
Monica Vinader was founded in 2008, focusing on sustainability by using 100% recycled gold and sterling silver, and recyclable packaging and reusable pouches.
It is available in retail stores across the world and department stores like Selfridges, Liberty, John Lewis, Farfetch and Nordstrom.
