Three masked people dressed in black executed a brazen daylight smash-and-grab at a Connecticut Kay jewelry store on April 24, CCTV footage released by the Wethersfield Police Department showed.
Officers said the suspects used a hammer during the break-in before fleeing in a black Hyundai Elantra with dark-tinted windows and no license plates. No injuries or threats of violence were reported.
Surveillance footage of the incident on Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield was released as the investigation continued.
