There’s a bold new chapter of luxury with the debut of Marissa Collections’ in-store boutiques for David Webb, bringing one of the country’s most iconic jewelry craftsmen directly to the most discerning clientele. Naples and Palm Beach clients have the exclusive opportunity to shop Webb’s masterpieces within Marissa Collections.

For Marissa Collections CEO Jay Hartington, the collaboration is as strategic as it is personal. “This collaboration grew out of a longstanding admiration for David Webb and a strong existing relationship with the brand,” says Hartington. “Middle West Partners, after acquiring David Webb, recognized our deep understanding of the brand through our wholesale partnership. Because of that combination of trust, shared vision, and proven partnership, they approached us to include our retail team in this next chapter for the brand.”

That trust, he explains, is precisely why Marissa Collections was selected as a retail partner. “Middle West Partners recognized that our team shares their enthusiasm for David Webb and has the expertise to represent the brand authentically, ensuring that each client engagement reflects the heritage, craftsmanship, and bold design that define David Webb. In short, we were the partner they trusted to help bring this next chapter of the brand to life.”

The partnership places Naples and Palm Beach among an elite circle of destinations where collectors can experience David Webb beyond its famed New York atelier. Founded in 1948, the house remains one of the few independent American jewelry brands, with every piece still handcrafted on the Upper East Side. Its artisans employ dozens of intricate techniques to transform gold and gemstones into sculptural works of art, including their signature cuffs and cabochons.

“Everything we create reflects the language of David Webb, even when it’s something entirely new,” says Levi Higgs, Head of Archives and Brand Heritage at David Webb. That enduring visual identity has long captivated women of style and substance, from Elizabeth Taylor and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis to Diana Vreeland and Diane von Furstenberg.

For Hartington, bringing that legacy into Marissa’s carefully curated retail environment is both an honor and a milestone. “Having David Webb in our stores is incredibly meaningful,” adds Hartington. “It represents the trust of one of America’s most iconic jewelry houses and allows us to share a brand with deep heritage, bold design, and exceptional craftsmanship with our clients in a truly immersive way. It also reflects our role as a trusted partner as the brand enters this exciting next chapter.”

Clients stepping into the boutique can expect more than a traditional shopping experience. “Clients can expect a truly immersive and elevated experience with David Webb,” says Hartington. “From bold, iconic designs to extraordinary craftsmanship, each piece tells a story. Our knowledgeable team is ready to guide clients through the collection, helping them discover pieces that resonate personally, and celebrating the artistry and heritage of the brand.”

While Naples, along with Palm Beach, currently houses in-store boutiques, the vision extends well beyond Florida. “While we currently have in-store boutiques in Naples and Palm Beach, the collaboration is expanding,” says Hartington. “We plan to open a full concession at our Nantucket location this summer, ensuring that clients across multiple markets have access to David Webb’s iconic designs.”

This expansion reflects a broader, forward-looking strategy shaped by Middle West Partners, the brand’s new owner. “The partnership with David Webb is strategic and forward-looking,” explains Hartington. “Under new ownership by Middle West Partners, the focus is on long-term growth while preserving the brand’s heritage and craftsmanship. This includes strengthening leadership and operational infrastructure, thoughtful expansion of retail presence and in-store experiences, enhancing global brand visibility, and continuing to deliver personalized, luxury client experiences. Middle West Partners has also secured financing and support to ensure the brand can execute this next chapter successfully, emphasizing careful, sustainable growth rather than rapid expansion.”

That balance between what is beloved and what the future holds is exactly what Marissa Collections is all about. Founded in 1975 as a boutique rooted in personal styling and individualized service, the company has grown into a luxury destination with locations in Naples, Palm Beach, and beyond.

With the arrival of David Webb, Marissa Collections is now expanding and elevating luxury retail. The partnership underscores the power of craftsmanship and invites clients to step into a world where jewelry is not just an item but a precious work of art.
