Not two, but Honor WIN 2 series to unlock three models

Honor is seemingly planning to break the “two models” rule for its upcoming gaming smartphone lineup – WIN 2 series, and may introduce three variants. While the first-gen family brought only standard and a Pro version, the new one can show up with a special PRO MAX handset.

The Chinese tech giant has recently announced to add one more member to its first-gen gaming phone series – WIN TURBO. The device will debut on May 29 with a signature camera frame and some interesting upgrades.

But in the meantime, the Honor WIN 2 series is gaining limelight as rumors suggest the new smartphone lineup will introduce three models this year. Though the identity of this third version is behind the mist at present.

A tipster recently described the WIN 2 series key highlights, including the number of variants it can bring to the stage. Inputs reveal that the new gaming phone family can consist of a Pro or PRO MAX model with the latest 2nm mobile processor – the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6.

Second model in this family can be a mid-tier handset with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. And the third WIN model could be a low-end or an entry-level device with the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Based on the models’ description, there is a chance that the company may distribute specifications accordingly. For instance, the highest variant – Pro or PRO MAX can feature a 10000mAh+ and an upgraded active cooling fan technology.

Meanwhile, the standard WIN 2 can use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. And the third model could debut as a pocket-friendly gaming device for users who want to be part of the Honor ecosystem.

Honor WIN 2 series specifications are constantly surfacing on the Chinese social media platform. However, the company hasn’t commented on this topic yet. Thus, we have to wait for a few more days to gain revelations about these handsets.
