BMW used the 2026 Beijing Auto Show to present the X3 M50 xDrive, the flagship XM Label plug-in hybrid and an updated X5.

At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, BMW presented several important SUV models, including the new BMW X3 M50 xDrive, the flagship hybrid BMW XM Label and the updated BMW X5.

The BMW X3 M50 xDrive features a sportier design with assertive bumpers, a large kidney grille and M-series accents. The model is equipped with a turbocharged inline-six engine, mild-hybrid technology and xDrive all-wheel drive. The cabin follows a modern approach, with a digital instrument cluster and the latest-generation infotainment system.

The BMW XM Label stands as the brand’s most powerful series-production SUV. It is a plug-in hybrid pairing a V8 with an electric motor, for a combined output of more than 700 hp. The model is distinguished by exclusive styling, gold-coloured accents and extended equipment aimed at the premium segment.

The updated BMW X5 arrives with revised exterior design and modern lighting technology. The line-up continues to include petrol, diesel and hybrid versions, along with an expanded suite of driver assistance systems and digital functions.

The models shown in Beijing underline BMW’s strategy for developing performance-focused, technology-rich SUVs that combine conventional combustion engines with electrified solutions.
