Celebrating indie games is something we at Lords of Gaming all believe in, so when the team hosting the Start Your Engines Festival reached out, we were happy to give them some spotlight. With over 90 titles part of the festival, both upcoming and released, there are a lot of exciting games to discuss.
Join us as we break down everything you need to know!
What is the Festival?

Hosted by PlayTogether Studios, the festival celebrates video games that heavily use vehicles! The official Steam Page hosting all the exciting games says the following about the event:
…driving and convoy survival, simulation and management, racing and rally, and rover piloting: across every genre, so long as the mechanical vehicle is core to play and not just set dressing, and combat is not the main feature. We’ll spotlight titles with deep systems, meaningful upgrades, and worlds worth exploring on any mechanical vehicle.

Closing Thoughts on the Start Your Engines Festival
Seeing fun events like this celebrating indie games is awesome, and we hope to see more initiatives like this in the future. Keep an eye on all these exciting upcoming releases, and for games already out, you can enjoy up to nearly 95% off on several already-released games part of the event.
PlayTogether Studio, makers of Arctic Drive, has the following statement to celebrate the event, running from May 12th (10 AM Pacific time) to May 19th (10 AM Pacific time).
The event celebrates engines in all games! Whether you want to drift through mountain passes, haul cargo across a post-apocalyptic wasteland, run a transcontinental rail empire, or sail an open sea with the wind at your back, there’s an engine here for you.
