Public invited to learn about the frogs and amphibians in Crab Orchard Wildlife Refuge

MARION, Ill. (KFVS) – Curious members of the public will get an up close and personal lesson on the frogs and amphibians of the Southern Illinois Wetlands.

Jeremy Schumacher will deliver the presentation at the Refuge Visitor Center on July 11, starting at 8 a.m.

Refuge officials say Schumacher will bring several species to the event for the audience to see. Some species will even be available to touch or hold with supervision.

The event is open to children and adults at no cost.
