SimWorks Studios has released two new add-ons for their Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Kodiak 100, alongside a new update for existing owners.
Kodiak 100 Amphibian
One of the releases is the Kodiak 100 Amphibian, which, as the name suggests, is a version equipped with floats for water operations.
According to SimWorks Studios, this variant can take off from water in as little as 1,000 feet, and includes four cockpit configurations, more than 30 liveries, and otherwise the same features as found in the standard Kodiak 100.
Kodiak 100 Medevac
Also released is the Kodiak 100 Medevac, which is an air ambulance configuration, with a dedicated paramedical interior and five exclusive liveries.
General Update version 2.2.2
Alongside the two new releases, version 2.2.2 of the Kodiak 100 has been published, fixing several issues with all variants.
It is available to download from your usual store or installer.
SWS also says a new update for the MSFS 2020 Kodiak 100 is coming later this week, introducing a selection of features from the 2024 edition.
New upgrade paths
SWS has introduced upgrade paths for current MSFS 2020 customers.
Owners of the MSFS 2020 Amphibian will receive a 50% discount when upgrading to MSFS 2024, and those who own the 2024 Amphibian can upgrade to the complete Kodiak 100 package by paying a price difference.
The new releases are available through the SimWorks Studios store, with MSFS Marketplace expected soon.
The Amphibian is available for roughly $22.73 USD, the Medevac for $9 USD, and the full Kodiak 100 package for $39.79 USD.
