AN Irish traveller tried the pet cabin for their family trip with two dogs on the Stena Line ferry.
And shared what the pet cabin has to offer with their followers.
Irish traveller, who posts on TikTok under @thedailycavalier, shared a glimpse of the pet cabins on the Stena Line ferry.
Firstly, they went through customs security and checked the dogs’ passports – they were all set to board the boat.
They are all set to sail from Dublin, Ireland to Holyhead, United Kingdom.
The voyage takes approximately three hours, which is the perfect amount of travelling for pets.
She mentioned that you have three options when booking the ferry with the pets: a pet cabin, a pet kennel or stay in the car.
The pet owner went for the pet cabin option with four beds, a TV and a private bathroom with a shower and bed.
Toiletries and supplies including shower gel and towels are available for the passengers.
The cabin also offers heating, electric sockets to charge your devices and small storage to stow away items throughout the journey.

For the pets, the owners have to bring a bed, a water bowl and poop bags as the ferry does not offer them for hygiene reasons but they can assist you if you forget anything.
Only up to two pets are permitted per cabin, additional pets must be placed in the kennels or left in the vehicle.
MULTIPLE PETS ARE PERMITTED
Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and ferrets are permitted in pet cabins and kennels but must be secured in carrier cases, excluding dogs and cats.
The pet cabins start from €82.
However, she mentioned that if you booked on a different route where it uses the Stena Estrid Ship – you would get an option to use the pet deck which is right beside the cabin.
She recommends people keep the pets with them all the time instead of the kennels if the pet cabin isn’t available as access to the kennels is not permitted throughout the sailing without a chaperone.
Many people rushed to the comments about the pet-friendly ferry.
One person commented: “Super helpful! They look so happy and like seasoned travellers!”
