Formula 1 has expanded its premium commercial portfolio after announcing a multi-year global partnership with luxury private aviation company Flexjet, which has joined the championship as its official private aviation supplier.
The agreement, which comes into effect ahead of this weekend’s Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix at Silverstone, will see Flexjet provide bespoke private aviation services while delivering exclusive hospitality experiences for stakeholders across the championship’s global calendar.
As Formula 1 continues its international expansion, the partnership is designed to support the seamless movement of executives, VIPs and key personnel throughout the season. Operating a fleet of more than 340 private aircraft, including one of the industry’s largest collections of large-cabin jets, Flexjet will provide tailored travel solutions while utilising Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for partnership-related flights as part of its broader sustainability commitments.
The collaboration extends beyond logistics, with both organisations aiming to enhance premium fan engagement through a range of exclusive experiences. Flexjet fractional aircraft owners will receive access to curated race-weekend hospitality, behind-the-scenes experiences at selected Grands Prix and bespoke events through the company’s Red Label programme. The partners will also launch a co-branded digital content series exploring the shared principles of precision, innovation and performance that define both elite motorsport and private aviation.
Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, said, “Every day of the year, Formula 1 is on the move, connecting with our fans, promoters and stakeholders, and working together to deliver something truly incredible. Having strong partners by our side is central to our success as we continue to grow and create unforgettable moments for hundreds of millions of fans around the globe. Flexjet is a perfect fit for us as our new Official Supplier, given the shared passion for precision, innovation and totally unique experiences.”
Kenn Ricci, Chairman of Flexjet, added, “This is a natural alignment of two worlds in which both luxury aircraft and fast cars require absolute precision and flawless coordination to achieve success. As we look to the future alongside our partners at LVMH, cementing our longstanding ties with the world of motor racing allows us to deliver unparalleled, ultra-luxury experiences, both on the ground and in the air.”
The partnership further strengthens Formula 1’s strategy of aligning with premium lifestyle and luxury brands as the sport’s global commercial appeal continues to accelerate. For Flexjet, the agreement provides access to one of the world’s fastest-growing sports properties and its affluent international audience, reinforcing the company’s positioning in the ultra-luxury travel market while deepening its presence within elite global sport.
