Antara Cruises has introduced a new two-night, three-day private itinerary titled “The Silent River Escape” aboard its Antara Catamarans in Bhitarkanika, Odisha.
The all-inclusive experience will operate on the Gupti–Dhamra–Kanika Island–Gupti route and has been designed as a private luxury river journey. Each catamaran features two suites and can accommodate up to six guests, supported by a five-member crew. The company currently operates four catamarans, allowing a total capacity of 24 guests for group travel.
The itinerary has been launched during the seasonal closure of the Bhitarkanika Sanctuary and focuses on exploring the region’s river systems, ecology, local culture and spiritual sites beyond conventional wildlife tourism.
The experience includes onboard dining, curated shore excursions and visits such as the Dhamra Temple for puja and darshan. Guests will also have access to activities including wildlife talks, cooking sessions and recreational facilities onboard.
Antara Catamarans feature air-conditioned suites, lounge and dining spaces, open decks and customised dining options including local Odia cuisine, Indian dishes and international meals. Vegan food preferences are also accommodated.
The itinerary is priced at Rs 1,00,000 for up to four guests, with arrangements available for six guests at an additional cost.
