Fiart Mare launches the new SX line of sporty yachts

The exterior and interior design of both yachts was created by designer Massimo Simeone, while the technical aspects were developed by Fiart’s in-house technical department.

The core concept behind the new series is “emotions, safety, and comfort for energetic time spent at sea”. These motor yachts feature well-thought-out deck layouts and practical living spaces, making them suitable for both coastal cruising and longer voyages. The builders promise high performance, enabling fast trips between destinations such as the Italian or French Rivieras.

To achieve this, the SX5 will be equipped with twin Volvo Penta D8 engines producing 550 hp each, paired with IPS700 drives, with an optional upgrade to IPS800. The SX4 will feature two Volvo Penta D6 engines delivering 440 hp each with IPS600 drives and an option for 480 hp with IPS650. However, the yard has not yet released any speed figures.

The focus is on extremely user-friendly deck arrangements. Both yachts boast large sun pads at the bow and wide side decks. But Fiart’s pride and joy is the cockpit, which easily transforms from a dining area into a lounge without requiring a full rearrangement of furniture. The cockpit is partially shaded by a hardtop that extends from the windscreen at the helm station to just above the dining table. Side glazing provides additional protection from spray. Direct contact with the sea is ensured by a remarkably wide swim platform at the stern.

Interior layouts come in two configurations: a three-cabin version for families or groups, or a two-cabin version with larger living areas. The main difference between the SX5 and SX4 is that the latter offers the same features in a slightly more compact hull.

Fiart is confident about the success of the SX line, believing these elegant cruisers will set a new benchmark in the 46- to 52-foot yacht class.
