Gosling Brothers has extended the nautical-themed marketing tie-ups for its namesake brand, becoming the ‘official rum partner’ of UK yacht brokerage firm Ancasta Group.
The partnership – the duration and value of which were not disclosed – will officially launch at the ‘Ancasta Summer Blast’ from 27-28 June in Lymington, on the south coast of England. The Bermudan brand’s rum, ginger beer and trademarked ‘Dark ’N Stormy’ serve will also be available at other UK events, including Dartmouth Sailing Week in August.
Global Drinks Intel has approached Goslings for further information on the deal, which follows a similar move in April, when the brand secured a three-season marketing tie-up with global sailing league Sail Grand Prix (SailGP).
“There is no drink more synonymous with sailing and the yachting lifestyle than the Dark ’N Stormy,” said Ancasta Group marketing director Will Blair, “and it will now play an integral role in the hospitality at our growing calendar of boat shows, customer-focused events, social gatherings and charity initiatives throughout 2026 and beyond.”
Chris Jones, the MD of Goslings’ UK distributor, Paragon Brands, added: “This partnership is perfectly aligned with the brand values of Goslings and continues a long history of association with global sailing events. We’re delighted to see the spotlight on the signature serve at these key sailing events and beyond.”
Paragon Brands took over the UK distribution for Goslings in February, a move intended to “accelerate” the presence of the family-owned rum in the market.
