  • Zendaya made an appearance at a photo call in London for Spider-Man: Brand New Day on June 25.
  • For the event, she wore an archival John Galliano dress from the brand’s Spring/Summer ‘97 collection.
  • She also accessorized with more than $100,000 worth of Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

One day after Zendaya subverted her usual high-fashion fare by wearing a $35 T-shirt from eBay, the 29-year-old actress dipped into a different type of archive on June 25.

The iridescent blue ensemble featured whimsical charm detailing, a subtle thigh-high slit, and a completely open back that was adorned with a silver spider web motif. She topped off the look with white pointed-toe satin pumps and even flashed her ring stack. Her short hair was worn in a sleek style, and her glam included shimmery gold and pink highlights.

“Don’t threaten me with a theme,” her longtime stylist Law Roach wrote on Instagram.

The Euphoria actress also accessorized with more than $100,000 worth of Tiffany & Co. jewelry from its Sixteen Stone collection. To add a bit of sparkle, she wore the diamond hoop earrings ($27,500), the diamond bracelet ($55,000), the diamond ring ($18,000), and the diamond-and-ruby ring ($18,500).

In a previous interview with Fashion Magazine, Zendaya discussed her approach to red carpet style. “A big reason I play with beauty and hair is that it’s important to show different kinds of beauty when I’m on the red carpet,” she said.

She continued, “I don’t want to be just one-dimensional or relatable to one type of person. I want a different woman to be like, That’s like me! That’s like my hair! or That’s so my style!

“If I went out there and was just like, pretty, all the time, doing the same thing, it can be cool, but you’re also catering to one type of person, and what about all those other kinds of beautiful out there?” she added.

The former child star has also credited fashion with helping her shed her Disney image.

“I wanted to create who I was as a person outside of my Disney character,” she previously told Marie Claire. “Fashion helped with that. My stylist, Law Roach, and I created a world beyond what I was known as through clothes.”
