Craven-Pamlico Animal Services urges families to adopt free pets during two-day event

Craven-Pamlico Animal Services is offering a two-day adoption event where people can adopt a pet at no cost.

The shelter will waive adoption fees on Friday, Aug. 14, and Saturday, Aug. 15, during normal business hours.

The event is sponsored by the ASPCA and will include dogs and cats available for adoption, according to Craven- Pamlico Animal Services

Craven-Pamlico Animal Services is encouraging anyone considering adding a pet to their family to visit the shelter during the event.
