With semi-custom megayacht construction appealing to more buyers than ever, it’s no surprise that more offerings are available. RMK Yachts’ Livia yacht series gives potential owners something different as far as that’s concerned. Although the superyachts have common LOAs, technical platforms, and structural features, lifestyle-driven amenities vary enough to make choosing one harder than usual.
The shipyard initially revealed the Livia yacht series as concept designs in 2024. Specifically, they are the Livia Core, Livia Aura, and Livia Infinite concepts. All three are 171 feet (52 meters) in length, have a volume of 499 gross tons, and bear design by Red Yacht Design. They share smooth and relatively simple styling, steering clear of superfluous flourishes. The indoor-outdoor lifestyle prevails, too, with on-deck lounges extending enclosed ones. Additionally, the all-important beach club is a fully open, multi-level area, in keeping with evolving buyers’ tastes. Even with these similarities, though, each has different customers and different types of cruising in mind. Their optional lifestyle amenities follow suit.
For instance, the Core design prioritizes intimate family travel. Spaces therefore reflect a homey, relaxed look and feel. Little luxuries to add include a fixed balcony off the master suite and a cinema room (or wellness area with a massage room in its place). Aura, meanwhile, offers a seventh guest cabin, becoming the only one of the three for 14 guests. She also adds features like a pool and a fold-down bulwark on the aft main deck. Finally, the Livia Infinite design can change the optional master balcony to a folding balcony. She further can feature both a dedicated gym and sauna.

Regardless of arrangement, the Livia yacht series relies on Volvo Penta’s IPS propulsion system. The Livia Core and Aura projects should see a best range of 3,500 nautical miles. Notably, the Infinite design should boost range to 4,500 nautical miles.
Because of generally growing interest in semi-custom superyachts, RMK Yachts has named Fraser Yachts and Moravia Yachting as joint central agents for the series. “From our earliest conversations, Fraser and Moravia immediately understood the philosophy behind Livia,” explains Cuneyt Okcu, RMK Yachts’ director. “They recognized that this is not simply another 50-meter motoryacht, but part of a long-term vision to create product families that offer genuinely different lifestyles and experiences.”
In related news, RMK Yachts is revealing a new concept design with Espen Øino International at next month’s Monaco Yacht Show.
