Madonna put a surprisingly bridal twist on lingerie dressing while celebrating the release of her new album on Saturday night. The “Like a Virgin” singer stepped out with her 29-year-old boyfriend Akeem Morris in Los Angeles wearing a retro-inspired blush pink corset paired with a dramatic floor-grazing sheer mesh veil.

In photos shared by The Daily Mail, the 67 year old could be seen leaving The Abbey following a launch party for her Confessions II album. The “Material Girl” star embraced her signature boudoir-inspired style for her night out, wearing a baby pink silk strapless corset with visible boning, sheer panels on the hips, and rosettes adorning the plunging sweetheart neckline. Madonna covered her arms with matching fingerless opera gloves made out of sheer light pink floral lace.

The “Hung Up” singer contrasted her bustier with a salmon pink miniskirt trimmed with light pink lace, pale pink fishnet tights, and towering black leather boots that were laced all the way from her toe to her thighs. Madonna styled her platinum blonde hair in a middle-parted blowout with big curls, embracing some extra sartorial drama by clipping a bridal-inspired floor-length baby pink veil to the crown of her head. The star added some sparkle with a necklace trimmed with gold and silver pendants, and accessorized with hot pink rectangular sunglasses. A mauve pout and sculpted cheekbones finished off her look.

In contrast, Morris went for a more casual look with a short-sleeved navy blue and white tracksuit at the party, which was also attended by Lily Allen and Bebe Rexha.
Madonna’s latest appearance comes after she returned to the Coachella stage for the first time in 20 years. While performing her biggest hits alongside Sabrina Carpenter, the “Vogue” singer rewore the same purple corset, leather Gucci bomber jacket, and boots that she wore during her Coachella debut back in 2006.
