Goodyear, AZ–Joanne Osborne, owner of Osborne Jewelers, combined her passion for fashion with community fundraising by hosting a sold-out premiere event for The Devil Wears Prada 2 that raised more than $13,500 for charitable causes.
Held at Harkins Estrella Falls in Goodyear, the event drew 135 guests dressed in the film’s signature red, black and white color palette for an evening inspired by the movie’s fashion-forward aesthetic. Osborne Jewelers transformed the theater into a premiere experience complete with a red carpet entrance, themed photo opportunities, movie-inspired mocktails, interactive games, raffles and gift bags for attendees.

A longtime student of fashion trends, Osborne has led the family-owned jewelry store for more than 35 years, regularly attending jewelry trade shows and fashion events to stay current with emerging styles. She said she began planning the celebration as soon as she learned a sequel to the popular film was in production.
“When I first found out a year ago that there would be a sequel, I’ve been waiting to make it the ‘Most Epic Girls Movie Night of the Year’ while also giving back,” Osborne said.

The event also served as a platform to raise awareness about women’s heart health. As a member of the American Heart Association’s Phoenix Heart Ball Committee, Osborne shared an educational video before the screening highlighting the warning signs of heart attacks in women, noting that heart disease remains the leading cause of death among women.
Working with local businesses, Osborne Jewelers raised $10,000 for the American Heart Association’s Phoenix Heart Ball. An additional $3,500 was generated through a silent auction benefiting youth programs in the local community.
By combining fashion, entertainment and charitable giving, Osborne Jewelers turned a movie premiere into a community fundraising event that reflected the retailer’s longstanding commitment to both style and local engagement.
