The brand may have launched in South Korea in 2019, but in the short time it’s been on UK soil – in Boots in June 2024 and Sephora in July 2025 – the skincare label has not only become the best-selling K-beauty brand at the former, but, according to the retailer, one product sells every 45 seconds.

Beauty of Joseon has its roots in traditional Korean medicine. Known as hanbang, it’s an ancient system that promotes natural healing using herbal ingredients, but the twist is the addition of science-backed actives.
