On August 24, the “Purr-fect Ukraine” exhibition opened at the Singing Field in Kyiv, featuring large-scale floral installations shaped like Ukrainian cats. The exhibition will run through September 20, and visitors can also enjoy themed photo zones and places to relax.
This time, the exhibition combines flowers with images of these fluffy pets. The arrangements feature various cats—some of which may remind visitors of their own pets or even of themselves.
According to the creators, “Purring Ukraine” is not just a story about cats and flowers, but also a unique portrayal of Ukrainians who work, dream, help one another, care for their loved ones, and continue to develop the country every day.
In addition to the floral installations, visitors can enjoy atmospheric photo zones and cozy spots to relax.

Works by Ivan Marchuk, an artist with a unique style whose paintings are now scattered across museums around the world and have long been part of Ukrainian cultural identity, are once again on display in Kyiv. The exhibition “Ivan Marchuk: Museum Collections” opened at the “Chocolate House,” which is hosting an exhibition of this caliber for the first time since 2022.
Sotheby’s auction house has listed Ivan Marchuk’s still life “Generous Planet,” painted in 1994 during the artist’s American period, for online auction. The work will be one of the key lots in the “Modern & Contemporary Discoveries” auction, with an estimated value of €40,000–60,000.
