CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — Clearwater Fire and Rescue said three cats were killed in a house fire early Saturday morning.
Crews responded to Norwood Avenue at around 6:15 a.m. to find that a fire had started in the home’s garage.
Fortunately, the two adults and two children occupying the home were able to escape unharmed, but three cats were killed in the fire.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, a spokesperson for the department said.
