Police dog PD Luna helps recover hidden knife after violent incident

A North Wales Police Dog helped the force to locate a knife that had been deliberately hidden following a violent incident in the Wrexham Rural policing area.

The force said PD Luna’s “sharp instincts and specialist training” led to the successful recovery of the weapon.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police Dogs’ added: “The recovery of this weapon provided vital evidence and highlights the invaluable role our police dogs play in keeping officers and communities safe.

“A fantastic result for PD Luna and her handler — professionalism, teamwork, and determination on display.”
