Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart has signed the first-ever name, image and likeness deal involving private aviation partnership that includes personal use of the aircraft.
As part of the deal with Nicholas Air, Dart will have access to Nicholas Air’s full fleet of jets to travel with family, for training and to support his philanthropic efforts. His usage of the jets will depend on the distance and type of jets he choose for his travel, as he’ll be drawing down on hours available on a variety of aircraft.
Nicholas Air says they chose Dart not only because of his talent on the field—he’s a preseason Heisman favorite—but also because of his passion for community service.
Dart, who is a senior this year, says he’s proud of his efforts to give back to the community, particularly through the upcoming Stuff-the-Plane event at the Children’s of Mississippi Hospital.
“Partnering with Nicholas Air in and of itself is exciting and being able to do it in tandem for events like Stuff-the-Plane is extremely gratifying.”
His agent, Jeff Hoffman of Everett Sports Marketing, says he expects Dart to be a great partner for Nicholas Air.
“Facilitating the collaboration between Jaxson and Nicholas Air further demonstrates the elite nature of Jaxson as an individual and the power of his brand. He has the ability to drive tremendous awareness and consideration for a very premium product. A deal of this nature has never been done and we at ESM are incredibly proud to be able to bring them together.”
Nicholas Correnti, founder of Nicholas Air, said, “To partner with a remarkable athlete like Jaxson Dart, who shares our values of excellence and community engagement, is truly inspiring. We are honored to support Jaxson in his philanthropic endeavors and look forward to making a positive impact together.”
The deal is a one-year deal with an opportunity to extend it into the NFL.
