Pars Today – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a statement that, in response to the U.S. enemy’s attack on Iran’s Qeshm Island, the IRGC Aerospace Force struck the parking apron and maintenance hangar used by U.S. F-35 fighter jets at Al Azraq Air Base in Jordan with several ballistic missiles, completely destroying three F-35 aircraft and inflicting heavy damage on three others.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the full text of the IRGC statement reads as follows:
In the Name of God, the Subduer of the Tyrants
“Permission has been granted to those who are fought because they have been wronged. And indeed, Allah is Most Capable of granting them victory.” (Qur’an 22:39)
To the honorable and discerning people of Jordan:
Your sincere support and cooperation—particularly the forthright positions taken by groups of Jordanian intellectuals and elites—have placed the enemy under increasing pressure and left it in a state of desperation.
In the early hours of Thursday morning, the U.S. enemy, unable to confront us in direct military engagement, used bases established in your country to launch an airstrike on two residential homes on Iran’s Qeshm Island with bunker-buster bombs. The attack struck the modest homes of local residents, martyring a father, a mother, and one of their children, while injuring two other children.
In response to this crime, and in support of your efforts to free the Islamic land of Jordan from what it described as the scourge of the American occupation, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched several ballistic missiles this morning at the parking apron and maintenance hangar used by U.S. F-35 fighter jets at Al Azraq Air Base. According to the statement, the strike completely destroyed three F-35 aircraft and inflicted heavy damage on three others. It also claimed that several enemy officers and technical and maintenance personnel were killed in the attack.
Our region has no place for an army that kills children and brutally targets innocent families in their homes in the middle of the night. Our struggle, alongside yours, will continue until the last American occupier leaves the lands of the Islamic world.
