Charli xcx Reveals She Wore One of Her Wedding Looks ‘on Stage’ Before Marrying George Daniel

Charli xcx is making up her own rules.

The English pop star, 33, revealed to British Vogue as the publication’s May cover star that she isn’t opposed to repeating outfits if she’s already been seen in them — and that goes for the dress she wore on her wedding day, too.

Charli, who wed husband George Daniel on July 19, 2025, wore several designer dresses the day of her nuptials in London. When speaking to the outlet, she said she wore her afterparty dress on stage prior to tying the knot — and plans to restyle her wedding dress in the future.

“I literally wear it all the time,” the British singer said of the cream-colored Saint Laurent’s ruffled jersey minidress — retailing for $2,500 and featuring flowing long sleeves and a low-dipping scoop neckline — that she wore beside The 1975 drummer.

Ditching her ceremony veil, Charli simply wore the dress as is, although she tied everything together with white Jimmy Choo Amita 95 slingback heels (the same pair she wore to say “I do”), a satiny clutch and her sunglasses.

“I wore it on stage in France with Air before I even got married in it,” she shared of the second dress.

The performance Charli was referring to took place in June 2025, when she sang “Cherry Blossom Girl” with Air at the We Love Green festival in Paris. The three-day music festival was held in the Bois de Vincennes park on the eastern edge of the city.

She styled the dress a bit differently for the show, however, pairing the Saint Laurent number with black thigh-high, platform boots. She wore her black hair straight and styled down onto her shoulders, as opposed to the loose wave she rocked on her wedding day.

Charli held a second wedding ceremony in the small village of Scopello, Sicily, nearly two months after tying the knot at Hackney Town Hall in London.

For the star-studded occasion, the singer opted for a sheer, floaty dress by Danielle Frankel. It was a bias-cut, ivory silk chiffon slip gown with delicate spaghetti straps and an elongated train.

“I’m going to wear that loads of times,” she told British Vogue. “I’m just going to deconstruct it and wear it in different ways. The dress I got married in has this undergarment piece with billowing material that you can attach or reattach.”

“If you can’t, I’m going to make it so you can,” she said, explaining, “So I can wear it as my own little undergarment moment.”

The pair celebrated alongside Daniel’s The 1975 bandmates — including frontman Matty Healy and his fiancée Gabbriette Bechtel — as well as Charli’s close friends, such as Troye Sivan, her tourmate from last year.

Charli highlighted other guests at her wedding via an Instagram post captioned, “i love my friendsssssssssss pt 1.”

The photos included Julia Fox, who commented, “We love you more ❤️,” Caroline Polachek, who wrote underneath the post, “Heart exploded forever,” and Robyn, who added, “The time of our lives! Grazie mille amore 💓.”
