Jack Collet, owner of Collets Auto Detailing, says the recognition has placed his small independent trade alongside much larger national competitors.
Jack learned on June 15 that he had been named a finalist in the Best Cleaning Business category at the UK Small Business Awards. Finalists are shortlisted year round and winners are announced at the annual awards in Birmingham on December 19.
Jack said: “To be a UK Small Business Awards finalist is truly a milestone for me. But it’s down to one simple thing, doing every job properly and treating each vehicle as if it were our own. This recognition is for our clients as much as it is for us, and this makes us want to raise the bar even further.”
Services include a quick maintenance wash, executive valet, interior and exterior detailing, scratch repairs, full paint correction and ceramic coating.
Jack founded the business in East Preston in 2020. As a mobile service, he will go to a client’s home or workplace, even a car park, as long as there is suitable access to the vehicle, water and electricity.
Jack said: “We started with a passion for cars and a basic kit and have grown into a professional mobile detailing brand trusted by hundreds of clients across West Sussex. We’re proud of every vehicle we work on.”
The service covers cars, SUVs, vans and motorbikes, with a loyalty rewards programme for regular clients.
