POCO Carnival 2026 starts on August 7

POCO has announced its Carnival 2026, and part of the brand’s annual celebration includes discounted prices on its flagship F8 Ultra, F8 Pro and flagship-killer X8 Pro Max, and X8 Pro smartphones.

POCO has officially kicked off the POCO Carnival 2026, its annual celebration, along with a handful of discounts on some of the brand’s top-tier Android smartphones. POCO is also hosting the “Complete Your Infinity” challenge, whereby you can express your creativity by completing the POCO infinity template and sharing it to social media to stand a chance to win a POCO Pad.

For the duration of POCO Carnival, buyers can also get an exclusive discount over and above the standard pricing by using code “POCO8TH” at checkout on mi.com. It should be noted that prices and discounts are region-specific, and Carnival deal pricing is not available in the US.

The POCO F8 Ultra is the brand’s top-tier flagship smartphone, delivering Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 performance, a 120 Hz, 6.9-inch AMOLED display. The F8 Ultra also features three 50 MP sensors, with the main camera powered by a Light Fusion 950 sensor with OIS and 4-in-1 pixel binning for cleaner photos in varied lighting. The other two sensors are a 115 mm periscope zoom camera with OIS and an f/2.4 ultra-wide camera for landscape photography or group shots on a night out.

The F8 Ultra also packs a sizeable 6,500 mAh battery for long days away from the charger, and it’s capable of charging at 100 W connected to a HyperCharge wired connection and 50 W via a HyperCharge wireless connection. From August 7 to 23, POCO is offering a discount of $50 on the F8 Ultra with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, for a final, price of $749. The F8 Ultra with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage has received a $30 discount, bringing it down to $699.

The POCO F8 Pro distils what makes the F8 Ultra special into a more affordable package that balances performance, price, and all-round usability. It is built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile SoC, and it features a 6,210 mAh battery and IP68 dust and water resistance. The F8 Pro also features a versatile triple camera setup headlined by a 50 MP main camera and 60 mm telephoto camera offering plenty of versatility to unleash your creativity or simply capture everyday moments.

The F8 Pro also packs symmetrical stereo speakers tuned by Bose, offering a more immersive gaming and media-consumption experience than the typical setup that simply boosts an anemic earphone speaker for stereo duties.

During POCO Carnival, the F8 Pro is discounted by $50, bringing the version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage to $649, while the version with 256 GB of storage costs $599 during the sale event.

The POCO X8 Pro Max goes to the other side of the SoC isle, packing the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC, a 6.83-inch, 1.5K, 120 Hz AMOLED display, and IP69K water and dust resistance. The camera setup features a 50 MP, 1/1.95-inch, Light Fusion 600 main sensor with PDAF and OIS, while the secondary camera is an 8 MP sensor behind a 15 mm ultra-wide lens.

The X8 Pro Max also features a very sizeable 8,500 mAh battery with 100 W HyperCharge wired charging and 27 W reverse wired charging capabilities.

During the POCO Carnival festival, after a $50 discount, the X8 Pro Max comes in at $549 for the variant with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The variant with 256 GB of storage gets a $60 discount, bringing it down to $499.

The POCO X8 Pro falls squarely in the mid-range price category, but it still offers a comprehensive feature set and dependable performance, thanks to a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset, a 6.59-inch, 1.5K, 120 Hz, AMOLED display. What’s more, the mid-range phone still maintains the IP69K water and dust resistance rating. The dual-camera setup features a 1/1.95-inch, 50 MP sensor with an f/1.95 aperture to let in plenty of light, and that is backed up by an 8 MP camera sensor with a 15 mm ultra-wide lens.

The X8 Pro also carries the same HyperCharge technology, which uses 100 W wired charging to get the 6,500 mAh battery to 100% in as little as 48 minutes — perfect for those last-minute charges before heading off to work.

The X8 Pro is on sale for $379 ($20 off) for the version with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage, while the version with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage is discounted by $30 to $409, and stepping up to 12 GB of RAM bumps the price up to $449 after a $50 discount on the top-end model.
