TOWN OF WEST BEND — The Cedar Lakes Conservation Foundation will be welcoming Schlitz Audubon Nature Center ambassadors to the West Bend Town Hall, 6355 County Road Z, for their hands-on “Reptiles and Amphibians” program at 10 a.m. July 11.
“Join Schlitz Audubon Nature Center ambassadors for an exciting live animal experience featuring reptiles and amphibians native to our region,” said a release from the CLCF. “Participants will meet these fascinating creatures up close and learn about the unique adaptations that help them survive in Wisconsin’s diverse habitats and changing seasons.”
The presentation, which is part of the CLCF’s Nature Series, will feature several animals, including turtles and snakes, according to the release, and it is free and open to members of the public of all ages.
