Extortion — 1:20 p.m. May 31

Officers took a statement after a suspect attempted to extort a Sandy resident on Facebook by falsely claiming to have their missing dog. The dog was later reunited with its owner after the suspect was blocked.

Burglary — 1:32 p.m. May 31

Sandy officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress in the 17000 block of Fir Drive after a resident said two unknown suspects were in his house.

Obstructing police — 7:31 p.m. May 31

Kiera M. Erwin, 33, of Eagle Creek, was arrested for interfering with a criminal investigation in the 39000 block of Evans Street.

Domestic violence — May 31

Officers responded to reports of an armed domestic dispute in the 39000 block of Evans Street.

Hit and run — 9:45 a.m. June 1

Officers responded to a hit-and-run in the 38000 block of Highway 26.

Firearm — 11:30 a.m. June 1

A gun was found in the 39000 block of Pleasant Street and turned in to the Sandy Police Department

Animal attack — 5:20 p.m. June 3

A person was walking their dog in the 19000 block of Oak Avenue when another dog came out of its house and attacked.

Theft — June 4

Officers responded to a cold theft in the 17000 block of Ruben Lane after more than $6,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from a home.

Runway juvenile — 9:03 a.m. June 4

A runaway juvenile was found in the 16700 block of Bluff Road. He was taken into protective custody and released to his parents.

Assault — 7:10 p.m. June 4

Thomas Gregory Wolff, 18, of Sandy, was arrested for fourth-degree assault in the 17200 block of Meinig Avenue.

Probation violation — 4:30 p.m. June 6

Matthew Tanner Unverrich, 29, of Sandy, was arrested for violating his probation in the 17000 block of Bluff Road.

DUII — 12:03 a.m. June 7

Miguel Santos Andrade, 54, of Portland, was arrested for driving while under the influence of intoxicants after being pulled over near Highway 26 and Bluff Road. He had a breath sample of 0.20%.

Trespassing — 11:23 a.m. June 7

Curtis Anthony Jones, 43, of Sandy, was arrested in the 37000 block of Reich Court for multiple warrants and trespassing.

Possession — June 8

Jamiyh K Johnson, 23, of Sandy, was charged with possession of methamphetamine in the 40000 block of Therese Street

Assault — 7:30 p.m. June 9

An unknown woman attacked a victim in the 36000 block of Highway 26 before fleeing in a vehicle.

Theft — 9:44 a.m. June 10

Unknown suspects broke into a car and stole a backpack. The backpack was later recovered nearby.

Marijuana — 2:49 p.m. June 10

A juvenile was using and in possession of marijuana in the 37400 block of Bell Street. They were cited for minor in possession and released to parents.

Littering — June 9

A white truck dumped trash on Industrial Way.

Damaged property — 8:49 p.m. June 10

An unknown suspect attempted to break into a home in the 39000 block of Pioneer Boulevard. About $31 of damage was caused to a padlock during an attempt to break it.

Graffiti — June 10/11

Sometime between June 10/11 an unknown suspect applied graffiti in Cedar Park. The cleanup is estimated to cost $25.

DUII — 11 a.m. June 11

Brandon Scott Burkhardt, 35, of Boring, was arrested for DUII in the 39000 block of Pleasant Street.

Possession — 10:44 p.m. June 11

Joseph N. Rairden, 44, of Boring, was arrested near Highway 26 and Ruben Lane on charges including trafficking, and possession of controlled substance (hallucinogen and amphetamine).

Graffiti — June 11

A known homeless man went into Cedar Park after dark and applied graffiti to the picnic area. The estimated cost is $50. The suspect was cited.

Fire — June 12

Six young men entered Cedar Park after dark and used gasoline to light a ball on fire and hit it around the park.

Warrant arrest — 7:45 p.m. June 12

Elizabeth M. Edmonds, 42, of Gresham, was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Clackamas County after a traffic stop near Proctor Boulevard and Bluff Road.

Driving while suspended — June 12

Joseph N. Rairden, 45, of Boring, was arrested for driving while suspended in the 16000 block of 362nd Avenue.

Theft — 7:46 p.m. June 12

An adult man was seen on security footage stealing park equipment from Cedar Park. The cost of the items taken was $40.
