Competent Kashmir Automobiles on Tuesday launched the new Brezza Turbo Boosterjet at its Parimpora showroom, introducing Maruti Suzuki’s latest compact SUV with enhanced performance, advanced safety features and next-generation technology.
The vehicle was unveiled by Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Kashmir, Qazi Irfan, in the presence of the Station House Officer (SHO), Parimpora, and customers.
Speaking on the occasion, Irshad Peerzada, Chief Operating Officer of Competent Kashmir Automobiles, said the new Brezza has been designed to meet the aspirations of modern customers by combining sporty styling, improved performance and advanced technology. He said the Turbo Boosterjet variant has been conceptualised around the theme of “Spontaneous Play” to appeal to young buyers seeking an exciting driving experience, while the K15C Dual Jet Dual VVT engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid Technology continues to cater to customers looking for refinement and fuel efficiency.
Powered by the Turbo Boosterjet engine, the SUV develops 81 kW of power and 170 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The company claims a fuel efficiency of 20.47 km per litre. The K15C Smart Hybrid variant is available with both six-speed manual and automatic transmissions, including steering-mounted paddle shifters, with a claimed mileage of 21.09 km per litre.
The new Brezza has been engineered for a five-star Bharat NCAP safety rating and features Blind Spot Warning, Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Emergency Stop Signal, Exit Support Warning, a 360-degree camera and front and rear parking sensors.
The SUV also comes equipped with a 10.1-inch SmartPlay Pro X touchscreen infotainment system, built-in internet connectivity, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Alexa voice assistant, premium speakers, Arkamys Surround Sense audio and a 64-colour ambient lighting system, offering customers a connected and premium driving experience.
