Pet of the Week: Charlie wants a home

by R.Donald

Charlie is one of three dogs currently with Leominster Fitchburg Animal Control who write: “Charlie has been at our holding kennel since April. He is around 10 or 11 months old and he is neutered. Charlie is really struggling in our kennel. He has a lot of energy and has been here for far too long.”

This mixed-breed pup spent two weeks in a foster home and he did very well because his foster mom was able to spend one-on-one time with him, which he appreciated.

She reports that he was “able to settle down and wasn’t quite as high energy as he was at the kennel.”

Charlie is a foster-to-adopt, and everyone who’s worked with him agrees that Charlie loves to learn. He’s an avid student when taken on a walk and would do well with an active family, but he also enjoys snuggling on the couch. If you are interested, reach out to: landfanimalcontrol@gmail.com.
