Jack Whitehall and Roxy Horner’s extravagant wedding at impressive venue with VIP guests

The comedian married the Essex model this weekend

Jack Whitehall and Essex model Roxy Horner exchanged vows yesterday during an extravagant celebration at Euridge Manor in Wiltshire. The magnificent 17th century estate, spanning 450 acres, features a boating lake, an orangery, a helicopter pad, a wisteria-covered pergola and a ballroom.

Wedding sources revealed the comedian made an emotional entrance by rowing across the lake to reach his bride – a touching moment that brought some guests to tears. Earlier that day, Jack was photographed arriving at the location carrying what appeared to be his groom’s speech.

The property – belonging to John Robinson, the multi-millionaire owner of fashion brand Jigsaw – is renowned “for its discretion, architectural character, and secluded setting” and is available exclusively for private hire.

Among the high-profile guests reportedly in attendance were James Corden, Jamie Redknapp, and Freddie Flintoff. They were undoubtedly dressed impeccably to match the wedding’s black tie dress code, with Jack wearing a classic black tie ensemble, flower buttonhole and Christian Louboutin shoes, reports the Mirror.

It’s understood Essex’s own Roxy who shares daughter Elsie with Jack – wore separate outfits for the ceremony and the afterparty. She had previously been photographed having her final dress fittings at Mayfair bridal boutique Galia Lahav. Spotted twirling around in several gowns at the designer boutique, Roxy, who has been in a relationship with Jack since 2020, appeared especially elegant in a stunning ivory strapless silk design. At one moment, Roxy seemed to wipe away a tear as her veil was fitted.

Wearing champagne peach ankle-length gowns, Roxy’s bridal party reportedly featured Jack’s sister Molly, fellow models Sophie Longford and Milly Slinger, while Jack and Roxy’s two-year-old daughter served as a flower girl.

Security measures were stringent, with attendees requested to switch off their phones throughout the ceremony and refrain from posting anything on social media. Vehicles arriving at the location had blacked-out windows and security personnel were visible at the entrance.

On Wednesday, arrangements for the wedding were in full swing as Roxy and Jack kissed farewell before the model’s wedding dress was seen being transported to the car.

Jack had previously described the big day as ‘Downton Abbey meets EastEnders’. Speaking on the Jonathan Ross Show, he explained: “My family are gilet-wearing chinless toffs, and her family are proper Cockney, all West Ham fans, proper salt of the earth.

“It’s the first time our families are ever coming together. I’ve met her family, but my family have not met her family.”

According to The Sun, attendees were accommodated at an exclusive five-star hotel in the vicinity, while the newly married couple remained on site alongside their families. The ceremony was reportedly planned for the afternoon, with the evening featuring “they will have a band and then a night of dancing”.

An insider told the publication: “Jack’s brother Barney is his best man while Jack and Roxie’s daughter Elsie is a flower girl. It’s a very family orientated occasion. They are both so excited.”

Jack had previously suggested his brother would exact his “revenge” during the best man speech, following Jack’s delivery of several “low blows” at his own wedding.

He told The Sun: “I gave quite a savage speech at his wedding. There were a few low blows he wasn’t too appreciative of. He’s going to have his opportunity to get his revenge on the big day. I’m bracing myself for that.” Roxy had a spectacular hen party in London two weeks ago. Jack’s mother, Hilary, joined the celebrations at the extravagant event, where guests enjoyed dinner at an exclusive London restaurant, received a private dance lesson from a Strictly star and were even treated to a lap dance from a Magic Mike stripper.

Hilary had been left frustrated after her son provided her with incorrect dress code information, forcing her to search for a replacement outfit with only weeks remaining until the ceremony. She told the Daily Mail: “When I asked Jack what the dress code was several weeks ago… he gave me the wrong dress code. I got the wrong dress, [then] the wedding invitation arrived with a completely different dress code on it. [Jack] said, ‘Sorry about that, Mumsy’.”
